What began as a small family idea has grown into one of Florida’s largest and most trusted boat rental and club operations.

It all started in 2005, when Hayley’s Jet Ski and Boat Rental opened in Vero Beach as a family business. Matt, the founder, had “retired” at the young age of 35—but as his daughter Hayley said, he needed something to do! So at just 15 years old, Hayley wrote the business plan, and before long, two jet skis turned into a full-scale operation serving the coastline from Cocoa Beach to Fort Pierce Inlet.

Seeing a need for more boating options in the Melbourne area, the family expanded by acquiring Mariner Boat Rentals and Club Nautica—two well-known local names that had served the community for more than 20 years. Fun fact: we’ve used the same phone number since 1985!

In 2025, after managing the operation for several years, Steve and Isabelle Payet purchased the business, carrying forward the same family-driven passion for boating, service, and community. Today, 321 Boat Rentals & Club continues the legacy—helping families and friends create unforgettable memories on the water.
